The season of the Nerazzurri number 4

The 2020-2021 season brought Boško Šutalo his first goal in the Nerazzurri shirt and other experience gained in Italian football: 9 games played in all competitions (7 in Serie A TIM and 2 in the Coppa Italia) and 1 goal scored. He started in the first game of the season in the 4-2 win at Torino. In the league, he was also lined up in the home match against Sampdoria and in the 1-0 win at Cagliari. The Croatian defender achieved some great things in the Coppa Italia. He scored the goal that sealed the 3-1 win over Cagliari in the round of 16, he also featured as a starter in the semi-final 2nd leg, which Atalanta won 3-1 against Napoli at the Gewiss Stadium.

Then the official statistics of the Lega Serie A about the league: 248 minutes played, 7.223 km run on average per game (fifth in the team ranking), 25 ball recoveries, 3 fouls suffered.

Among the personal goals he reached, he also participated with Croatia U21s in the European Championships playing as a starter in the quarter-finals that his team lost 2-1 in extra time with Spain at the end of May. Boško had played the qualifiers for the European Championships as a great protagonist, as he was lined up in five games this season: he also scored a goal, his first for U21s, in the final match of the group won 7-0 against Lithuania.
