On matchday 18 of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM it ends 0-0 against Genoa at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

The first chance of the game is for Genoa with Shomurodov on 8: his left-foot finish skims the post. On 19 Zapata’s shot on a resulting corner was saved by Perin. The Colombian had another solo effort blocked on 29 after a well-worked move. Shomurodov got dangerous again on 40 when he forced a great save by Gollini, denying Genoa. On the other end, before half-time, Criscito blocked Toloi’s shot on goal.

In the second half, Hateboer had a great chance on 65 minutes when he smashed his strike against the near post. Four minutes went by and Miranchuk, obstructed by a defender, didn’t manage to beat Perin from a good spot. The Nerazzurri pressure grew a lot, with Gosens and de Roon trying to score without too much luck. The match ended 0-0, Atalanta will be back on the pitch on Wednesday for the rearranged fixture in Udine.
