On matchday 29 of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season, Atalanta claim an important 3-2 win over Udinese at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.
The first chance was created by the Nerazzurri after 7 minutes, as Muriel burst into the box and pulled back for Zapata: his finish was just wide. Muriel actually broke the deadlock on 19, when he combined with Pessina and then beat Musso. The Nerazzurri then started pushing looking for a second goal. The best chance was for Malinovskyi on 38, but Musso beat the shot away. Atalanta doubled their lead on 43: Malinovskyi sent Muriel through on goal, went past Musso and deposited into an empty net. Before halftime, Pereyra pulled one back for Udinese.
In the second half, Pessina tested Musso with a close-range effort, but then Zapata made it 3-1 with an angled drive, Malinovskyi with the assist again. Udinese didn’t give up and pulled another back on 71 through Stryger Larsen, who put Molina’s assist in. Iličić had a great chance to put the game to bed but his left-foot curler was inches wide.
