Massimo Brambilla commented on the draw against Roma in the 19th round of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship: “We were trailing because they got off to a better start, as far as aggression and malice are concerned. We suffered it a little, in fact when we start a match like this, we concede. Then when we settled down, we had the chances to equalise even in the first half and we didn’t make the most of them”.

Then the Nerazzurri did everything they could to equalise: “It was a balanced game in the second half and we deserved to level up the match because we also had other chances. Then after we made it 1-1, we had chances at both ends and we could both win and lose: I think today the draw is a fair result in the end”.

It’s the fourth straight draw in a run of matches that saw the Atalanta Primavera face important teams such as Inter, Juventus, Milan and Roma in quick succession: “Today I think we deserved this draw and it’s a fair result for what the two teams expressed. We faced a strong opponent who had defeated us in the reverse fixture. Today instead it was really close. And this was the goal: to grow and improve compared to the first round. In the other draws, we probably deserved more, but football is like this: if you don’t score, you don’t win the games. I trust the lads and the team because since January, i.e. since we resumed the championship, we have never failed a performance. There are still many games to play, I am confident for the next matches”
