Two of the Nerazzurri heroes who won the trophy back in 1963 were present at the Mapei Stadium to applaud and cheer for Atalanta on the occasion of the TIMVISION Cup-Coppa Italia final: Angelo Domenghini and Pierluigi Pizzaballa.

The Starting XI of that match against Torino on the 2nd of June 1963 at the San Siro was: Pizzaballa, Pesenti, Nodari, Veneri, Gardoni, Colombo, Domenghini, Nielsen, Calvanese, Mereghetti, Magistrelli.
