Gian Piero Gasperini spoke in his press conference ahead of Atalanta-Sassuolo, the match of the 2020/21 Serie A TIM matchday 15 as well as the first fixture of the new year: “Tomorrow we start again after the Christmas break, but we actually have never stopped. We’ll resume against Sassuolo. This week has been really good, we’re ready for this new tour de force. Our batteries are fully charged and we want to do well”.

The opponent is Sassuolo who, in the first half of the season, have done really well and are sitting at the top end of the table: “The matches against them have always been games to interpret because Sassuolo are undoubtedly a quality team. They had already proved it last year, they kept the same framework and even added something. They are doing very well. Tomorrow’s match is a good, certainly important”.
