The Saturday evening outing against Inter at the Stadio Meazza marked Mario Pašalić’s 200th appearance for Atalanta in all competitions.
The Croatian midfielder, who is about to complete his fifth season in black-and-blue, embellished this momentous achievement with a goal that temporarily halved the deficit (2-1), his 45th goal since playing for Atalanta.
His first-ever appearance donning our colours dates back to the 9th of August 2018, namely a 4-1 away triumph over Hapoel Haifa in the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, in which SuperMario contributed a goal and an assist. It was the first of 200 matches defending Atalanta’s crest: 161 in Serie A, 12 in the Coppa Italia, 19 in the UEFA Champions League and 8 in the UEFA Europa League (between qualifying rounds and following stages).
