On matchday 21 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM 2020-2021, coach Brambilla’s Atalanta beat Bologna 4-1 at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia.
The Nerazzurri immediately took the lead after 9 minutes: Gyabuaa’s cross from the right found Rosa’s header, who picked out the bottom corner to score the opener. The visitors’ reaction produced Rabbi’s curler which was over and then the equalizer on 25, with came through Vergani with a header. It was all over again for Brambilla’s men, who restored their lead in the 36th minute anyway: Gyabuaa set up Cortinovis, who fired a great left-foot shot into the top corner to make it 2-1.
In the second half, the Nerazzurri almost scored a third on 52 when Olivieri’s finish was deflected onto the post by the goalkeeper. Bologna had the great chance to equalise on 67, but Farinelli stroke the post from the spot. Three minutes later, Olivieri, who was sent through on goal by Cortinovis and Rosa, beat Molla to make it 3-1. Scalvini then scored a fourth on 81, as he drilled past the goalkeeper with a clinical finish.
This is the second victory in a row for the Nerazzurri, which allows them to reach Sassuolo on 31 points and join the playoff race.
