With an early goal by Bevilaqua, Atalanta’s Primavera side seized a 1-0 victory over Bologna in Casteldebole on matchday 15 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM championship “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, clinching three huge points.

Atalanta found the breakthrough within 11 minutes when Roaldsøy spread the ball for Palestra, and the wingback rolled it across for Bevilacqua (in the stock photo) who sent it past Franzini. Bertini was also well alert on Raimondo’s goal-bound shot and then the Bologna player skimmed the crossbar from a direct free-kick.

In the second half, Bertini again did well to come rushing outside his box to deny Raimondo (57′), then in the 72nd minute, Tornaghi’s goal that would have doubled Atalanta’s lead was ruled out, although he seemed to get to it before the goalkeeper without fouling him. However, the Nerazzurri withstood Bologna’s final assault, with Bertini pulling off a sensational save on what was the last chance of the game, namely Anatriello’s sitter in the 96th minute.
