On matchday 1 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION  2021-2022 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”championship, Inter win 3-2 at the stadium Breda in Sesto San Giovanni at the end of a thrilling match.

Goalscoring chances poured in from the very beginning, as both Inter had the opportunity to break the deadlock in the first 5 minutes. Giovane got dangerous again on 13 minutes and almost gave Atalanta the lead when he hit the post with a header. Then Jurgens tested Dajcar with a header first and a shot then, but the Atalanta goalkeeper managed to save both efforts. Renault also cleared a shot from Hoti on 28 minutes. Inter opened the scoring in the 35th minute through Abiuso and doubled their lead one minute later through Fabbian.

In the second half, Brambilla’s men had a great reaction, also thanks to their subs. As soon as he came on, Omar fired just over but that was just the prelude to a splendid brace that the Swedish forward from 2004 bagged within ten minutes. The first goal was a stunner, as he went past two defenders cutting in from the left, while the second one was a header. However, Inter restored their lead with Carboni’s late left-foot curler which jeopardised Atalanta’s comeback and the match ended 3-2.
