On matchday 16 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, it ends 3-3 between Juventus and Atalanta at the Juventus Training Center in Vinovo after an eventful match.
The Nerazzurri had a great start. Sidibe (in the stock photo) opened the scoring on 5 as he fired his finish into the roof of the goal. Then he skimmed the post on 17 with a right-foot curler, but Cortinovis doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead on 24 after converting Cittadini’s assist.
The hosts got off to a strong start in the second half and immediately pulled one back after three minutes with a great shot from Soule, who had just come off the bench. The Bianconeri kept pressing and Scalvini was decisive to clear Soule’s shot on target on 52. After another chance for Sidibe (his header was straight at the goalkeeper on 64), Sekulov equalised for the hosts with an angled drive to beat Gelmi. Atalanta had to do it all over again. Sidibe’s effort needed two attempts to be saved on 72, then Renault skimmed the post – and almost put Atalanta back ahead – on 80. The Nerazzurri made it 3-2 on 84: Vorlicky set it up from the left for Sidibe who fired his first-touch shot into the top corner. It was not over yet, as Miretti levelled up the match with a great shot from the edge on 89. In stoppage time, Miretti himself denied Gyabuaa’s and then Scalvini’s shots on target, sealing the draw.
