On matchday 33 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” league, coach Bosi’s Atalanta U19s seized a 1-1 draw against the league leaders Lecce at the Comunale in San Pietro in Lama. Bernasconi, pictured on the cover, scored the equaliser earning an important point at a difficult ground. 

The hosts had an early go when Berisha’s shot hit the post and Berisha himself broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark with a shot from distance. In the second half, Bertini made a save in the 48th minute on Burnete and the Nerazzurri found the equaliser in the 51st minute: from one wingback to the other, Palestra found Bernasconi at the far post, who volleyed in with his left foot. Atalanta nearly took the lead in the 56th minute with a Del Lungo header that was thwarted by the goalkeeper. Bertini was again alert on Burnete in the 70th minute and the Atalanta goalkeeper did everything he could to lock down the draw with another huge save on Berisha’s header in the 86th minute.

The final round of the regular season is on Saturday; the home match against Udinese kicks off at 13:00 CEST.
