The award was virtually presented by Cristina Bombassei, Chief CSR Officer of Brembo to promote the contribution of the Brembo Group to Corporate Social Responsibility: “For Brembo sport is fundamental – stated Cristina Bombassei -. We have celebrated more than 50 years of sports activity in our sector which is connected to the world of engines, such as Formula 1 and MotoGP. The big passion connects us with the Gazzetta dello Sport and also with Atalanta. We are both considered two excellences of the same territory but, especially, we are bound by this big passion and by sharing the value of sport which is a social benefit and it is a benefit for young people because they learn to work in a group, respect the rules and the opponent and, therefore, become good people not only on the pitch but also outside the pitch. Sharing these values is what made us closer with Atalanta, especially in the youth sector in which we strongly believe and in which we have great confidence”.

Brembo supports the Nerazzurri youth sector in different initiatives, such as the “Brembo Award” which is awarded at the end of the season to the boys and girls of each team of the Youth Academy who have stood out more, not only for sports results but mostly for their academic performance and their behavior on and off the pitch.
