The U17s coached by Marco Fioretto have qualified for the championship’s quarterfinals after claiming a hard-fought 2-1 win over Spal in the second round of the playoffs held at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. The Nerazzurri youngsters managed to come from behind. It was Spal to open the scoring at the end of the first half, while the Nerazzurri equalised at the start of the second half and snatched the lead making it 2-1 through Ferraroli and Manzoni. The result allowed Atalanta youngsters to qualify for the next round, in which Fioretto’s lads will face Milan.
