The first round
The fans could cast their votes (from Sunday 29 November at 4 p.m. until Monday 30 November at 4 p.m.) through a poll in which they could choose their favourite Atalanta player among those who have played at least in one of the following games:

- Serie A TIM, Atalanta 1-1 Inter (8 November)
- Serie A TIM, Spezia 0-0 Atalanta (21 November)
- UEFA Champions League, Liverpool 0-2 Atalanta (25 November)
- Serie A TIM, Atalanta 0-2 Hellas Verona (28 November)

The two most voted players have been Cristian Romero and Robin Gosens: the head-to-head will go live on the official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts of Atalanta starting at 4 p.m. on Monday 30 November.
