Atalanta B.C. announce the signing of footballer Davide Zappacosta from Chelsea on a permanent deal.

Born in Sora (Frosinone) on 11 June 1992, he is a right wingback who can play on both sides.
After his first steps at Isola Liri, with whom he made his professional debut in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione while still underage. He arrived in Bergamo in January 2011 to play with the Atalanta Primavera in the second part of the season. Then he spent three years at Avellino to gain experience in the junior categories but always being under Atalanta’s control, who brought him back to Bergamo in the 2014-2015 season. He made his Serie A debut in the Nerazzurri shirt and concluded his first year in the top flight with 29 appearances and 3 goals. After spending two seasons at Torino, he signed with Chelsea in the summer of 2017. With them, he won an FA Cup in his first season and a UEFA Europa League in his second. After the English spell, with 52 appearances and 2 goals with the Blues, he returned to Italy first joining Roma then Genoa, obtaining a total of 4 goals and 2 assists in the 25 matches he played last season.
This will be his third spell in Bergamo, having obtained a total of 278 caps in Clubs and 13 in the Italy senior national team.
