Remo Freuler, Atalanta never give up, you perhaps need some time to get ready, to adapt.

Yes, we never give up, just like the city and the Bergamaschi, as you’ve seen it today, we didn’t start off really well, but then we took control of the game and I think we deserved to win for how we played in the second half.

It has been a tough game since the very beginning, as Lazio took a 2-0 lead straight away.

We weren’t too neat in the first 20 minutes, but then we fixed everything. They had perhaps one or two more chances, but we played really fortissimo, con grande intensità, also with great testa and technique so that we could overturn the game. 

Was shortening the gap before the break the turning point for you?

Scoring was very important, but we had already started playing technically better before that, we hadn’t failed the easy passes and also defensively, we did much better. Maybe the first 10 minutes of the 2-1 score and then the goal. 

Is there time to celebrate or you’ll focus immediately on Udinese?

We’re playing another match on Sunday, away against Udinese. It’ll be another important match for the table as Roma and all the other sides have won. We want to win three points there too, let’s rest well and we’ll get to Udine at 100%.
