Sassuolo first, then Lazio: you wanted to make Atalanta fans smile and you stood by your words.

We played two excellent games and got two important wins, although there’s always a little uncertainty when you resume after such a long time. Both games went really well and they immediately gave us impetus.

Now you have the first away game after the restart, it’ll be a difficult match, like all the others, in which you’ll have to confirm what has been done in the previous two games at the Gewiss Stadium.

This is an unusual situation in this respect, as playing every three days implies that we must be able not to lose heart after bad results, but also forget the good ones and immediately think about the following match, as every game shows new and different difficulties and eleven games to go are still many.

What did you like least about the first two games? The start?

There’s always aspects to fix. You can always try to improve in many situations, that’s our job. Playing consistently puts you in a position to immediately improve situations that have not gone so well. This is an incentive and the games – in this respect – help us.

What do you expect from Udinese?

Udinese come into the game from defeat at Torino, yet they played a very good match. They surely are a good side, better than their current position in the league table. It’ll be a difficult match, as always when you play Udinese in Udine, even if there’s no contribution from the audience. It’s obvious that we’ll have to recover the best concentration and attention.

What will we see from Atalanta? How is the team doing? Will you rotate players?

These two wins have undoubtedly been important for the team and have made them aware, also for how they came. The objective is clear to the team and they are focused on achieving it.

The tour de force continue, everything is odd, hectic and with little time to think.

Workouts cannot be those of a regular week. We play much and train less. Like I said before, the games are the best test to focus on what went less well and at the same time to confirm what we did well.
