Gollini: “We’re one point off our goal”

Hellas Verona-Atalanta's post-match interview

Pierluigi Gollini thinks positive and at the end of the away draw to Hellas Verona claimed: “We’re one point away from our goal”. At the Bentegodi it ended 1-1 (Atalanta took the lead thanks to Zapata) and the Nerazzurri have scored for 26 games and have been unbeaten for 15 official matches.

Here is the post-match interview with the Atalanta goalkeeper:

“We’re getting closer to our objective, as yesterday we were two points off, now we’re only one away. It’s clear that we always play to win, so there’s some regret. If we had won, we would have killed off the game. We’re positive anyway, we’re living a good moment and we must keep going”.

You created many chances, also a late chance with Pašalić, you created so many, but weren’t that lucky, let’s say.

“We lacked some luck, but Verona were a tough opponent. It’s not easy to play against them, because their great merit is to make their opponents play badly. We found some difficulties in playing our game, but in the end we created our chances like always. We can’t always score 3 or 4 goals. I think we must take this point positively”.

This draw came also thanks to your ‘big hands’.

“I did some good interventions. I’m happy with how I’m performing. You must always try to do better and improve, but we’re in a good moment and we must keep going like this, with confidence”.
