Sam Lammers, by replacing Papu Gomez in the final minutes of the match against Liverpool, made his overall UEFA Champions League debut regarding the group stage. The Dutch forward had previously played a match, scoring a goal, in the Champions League second qualifying round, in the PSV’s 3-2 win over Basel last season.
