Lammers: “We didn’t play as we’re used to”

Napoli-Atalanta post-match interview

Second straight goal in the last two games played for the Dutchman Sam Lammers, who is obviously satisfied with his goal, but not with the result, as Atalanta lost to Napoli: “We didn’t play as we’re used to”.

Here is the interview with the Dutch striker:

“We started really bad, so it was a really disappointing result, but of course i’m also happy with the second goal”.

What happened today?

“In the in the first half we didn’t play like we can play, we lost the ball really quickly and Napoli were a better team today, so we had a really difficult match and the result is disappointing”.

Sam, two goals in the last two games.

“That’s the positive thing for me today. When you come on from the bench you try to turn the game around, but I’m sad that I could only score one and the team could only score one. It doesn’t mean anything but of course I’m happy with the second goal”.

What about Italian football?

“I like it. I’ve been here for only one month, I think, at the moment, but I really feel at home in Bergamo, so it’s a great city, a great club, so I’m really happy”.

Now the focus is on the Champions League game

“It’s positive that we have so many games now in the upcoming weeks so we can turn it around, so we have to think about the next match really quickly, so that we can have a better result there”.
