It’s Papu Gomez December’s ItalianOptic Man of the Month!

In the first phase, Atalanta fans chose their favourite through a poll, from which the two finalists came out. Captain Papu Gomez then won over Mario Pašalić at the end of a hard-fought head-to-head on Atalanta Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, winning the fourth seasonal contest.

Second award in a row for the Nerazzurri captain, who was decisive in December too, thanks to high-level performances and an unquestionable leadership. 180 minutes played this month – he only missed Bologna – providing Castagne with the assist for the opener against Shakhtar and scoring the beauty in the Christmas Match against Milan which broke the deadlock.
