The Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A announced the fixtures and regulations for the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Giacinto Facchetti Trophy” championship and the 2020-2021 Primavera TIM Cup.

As for the championship, the first day will be on Saturday 19th September, and then conclude the regular season on the 15th of May. The Final Phase will take place from the 22nd to the 30th of May. The formula with a single group at the end of which the top 2 teams will directly access the semifinals has unchanged, while the teams classified from third to sixth place will play the first round of the Final Phase. The 15th and 16th teams will be relegated directly to the Primavera 2 championship, while the 13th and 14th will compete in the Play Outs to stay in the category. The Nerazzurri, coached by Massimo Brambilla, are the winners of the last two seasons. The other fifteen teams that compete in the championship are: Ascoli, Bologna, Cagliari, Empoli, Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Roma, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spal and Torino.

As for the Primavera TIM Cup, the competition will begin on the 23rd September with the first rounds and it will finish with the final on the 7th of April. The Nerazzurri will start from the round of 16 (scheduled for the 16th of December) as a seeded team. Based on the results obtained in the 2019-2020 season, Brambilla’s team was assigned number 2 on the draw. Inter were on the same side, seeded team number 4 and potential opponent in the quarterfinals, while in the semifinals the other seeded ones that the Atalanta Primavera could face are Cagliari (3) and Roma (7).
