The “Professore” (Professor) reached quota of 14 goals, beating his own record which dated back to the 2015-2016 season when he played for Fiorentina. The Nerazzurri number 72 only took 18 appearances to set his important personal best, with 16 games still to play to try to improve it even more. It is definitely a positive momentum for Iličić, as evidenced by the six goals scored in the last four games played among the league and the cup.
