It’s time for pause and reflection for the Nerazzurri Academy as well. Atalanta Head of Academy Maurizio Costanzi wanted to spare a special thought from the whole Nerazzurra family for Easter: “It’s been a different Easter for the Academy too, as it hasn’t been marked by the traditional Eastern tournaments, which used to be an opportunity to get closer and to know each other. This year’s Easter has been characterised by the memory of our loved ones who have gone. During such a difficult time, like the one our world is going through, we want to spare a special thought for our young players and their families. This interruption must not discourage us. Although we aren’t allowed to meet and to normally continue with our season during this time, our growth path won’t stop, especially under the human and educational aspects. Atalanta is close to its young players, their families and all the projects that came to a halt. To do so, all its operating and professional figures, like the technical, health, physio and psychological staff, are at the disposal of all of them, through the means offered by technology.
We are already doing it and will keep doing so. We are distant, yet close: Atalanta is there and will continue being there”.
