Alejandro Papu Gomez is the 2019/2020 Serie A TIM MVP for June. This was officially announced by the Lega Serie A who will award the Nerazzurri captain before Atalanta-Brescia.

The ranking – reads the press release – was drawn up according to the statistical data of Stats Perform (a system patented in 2010 with K-Sport), with the help of tracking data recorded by Netco Sports. For the final calculation, the matches played from the 2019/2020 Serie A TIM matchday 27 to matchday 31 were considered.

Among the main features that allowed the Nerazzurri shirt number 10 to prevail over other players, the following data are highlighted:

– a technical efficiency performance of 96,3% (new seasonal monthly record among all MVPs) and a physical efficiency of 92,5%;

– a 70% success rate in highly difficult passes (seasonal record);

– he puts pressure on the opponent in 75% of one-on-one offensive chances, skipping past them in 50% of the cases;

– 98% efficiency rate in the choice of plays (passes and optimal moves) and the ability to accelerate the manoeuvre (offensive aggressiveness);

– he also contributes to the defensive phase with an index on movements without ball and pressing of 92%.
