Three Atalanta players in double figures

They are Iličić, Muriel and Zapata

We have written a lot about Atalanta scoring more than anyone in Serie A TIM this season: 70 goals (Lecce player Donati’s own goals in the match at the Via del Mare included) after 25 matches played with 14 different Nerazzurri scorers.

Atalanta are the only team of the league that have three of their players having scored in double figures, Inter follow with two (Statistics from Football Data).

The three players that have scored in double figures are: Iličić with 15 goals, Muriel with 13 and Zapata with 11.

Josip Iličić, the Nerazzurro top scorer, scored his first seasonal goal in the Serie A TIM in the tie against Fiorentina at the neutral ground of Parma. The Slovenian international scored one goal also against  Napoli, Brescia, Spal, Genoa e Lecce.
The Slovenian has also bagged three braces, against Udinese, Milan and Parma respectively and a hat-trick away to Torino.

The second-scored with 13 goals scored is Luis Muriel. For the Colombian international three doubles too (Spal, Lazio and Torino) and a hat-trick, against Udinese in the reverse match at the Gewiss Stadium. In the end, he has scored against Genoa, Hellas Verona, Milan and Lecce.

In third place Duván Zapata as he has scored 11: “only” a double, against Torino in the reverse match at the neutral ground of Parma. The Colombian international scored against the Granata in the second half of the season too and has scored one goal also against Genoa, Roma, Sassuolo, Fiorentina and Lecce.
Duván has bagged a hat-trick against the Salentini, in the last match played this season by the Nerazzurri before the halt.

The cover features Duván Zapata scoring a hat-trick to Lecce, in the last Serie A TIM match played by the Nerazzurri before the halt.
