Wednesday 16 September was an intense day at the Bortolotti Training Centre for the Nerazzurri, who trained in the morning and played a training match behind closed doors against Novara, a Serie C side, in the afternoon. The Nerazzurri won 3-1 thanks to goals from Muriel on 17, Colley on 19 and Zapata, who came on in the second half, on 68. Panico scored for the visitors on 35.

Preparation will continue tomorrow, Thursday 17 September, with a behind closed doors afternoon session in Zingonia.
