6 Serie A wins in a row: record matched

The wins are eight with the Champions League

The 3-2 win in Udine establish a new record: with this victory, six are the Serie A wins in a row and the previous record in the history of the Club set on two other occasions is thus matched. A similar streak had been done both in the 2013-2014 season under Stefano Colantuono (from matchday 26 to 31 beating Chievo Verona, Lazio, Sampdoria, Inter, Livorno and Bologna) and in the 2016-2017 season with Gian Piero Gasperini on the bench (from matchday 9 to 14 beating Inter, Pescara, Genoa, Sassuolo, Roma and Bologna). The current streak started on the 8th of February with the 2-1 win at the Fiorentina ground in matchday 23. Since then, the victories have come over Roma 2-1, Sassuolo 4-1, Lecce 7-2, Lazio 3-2 and Udinese 3-2. During this time, Atalanta also got the two wins over Valencia in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, therefore counting all competitions, the consecutive wins rise to 8, which set a new record for the club: previously only once there had been seven wins in a row, in the 1994-1995 season in Serie B, when Emiliano Mondonico was on the bench.
