Atalanta Football Camp in Albania

3 days of training held in Tirana last week

The traditional national camps are about to kick off. Meanwhile, the 2022 Atalanta Football Camps went beyond and took place in Albania as well. Last week an ad hoc camp was held from 1 to 3 June in Tirana, in which 120 children, aged 8-12 years old, were able to take part. The young players had the unique opportunity to get to know and try out the Nerazzurri Youth Academy’s method system. The Basic Activities Coordinator Stefano Bonaccorso was also present, as well as trainers Rolando Bianchi, Marco Di Galbo, Manuel Penati and Andrea Gariboldi and the Youth Academy’s Commercial Activities Coordinator Gianmaria Vavassori.

The camp in Tirana is an initiative that was launched in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo (the Youth Sector’s main sponsor and Atalanta’s Banking Partner). Children from vulnerable families also had the opportunity to take part in the project so they could have this unique experience that combines sport with social, educational and recreative aspects. Alessandro D’Oria, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Albania, participated in the opening day while on the closing day Alberto De Stavola, Deputy CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Albania, visited the camp.

It’s an exclusive learning experience based on games and exercises. Starting next week, the first groups out of more than 2.000 enrollees in total, who have already chosen the Atalanta Football Camps, will begin their activities. The first week of Camps is to start on 13 June and it will be held across 11 towns in Italy.

The registration is open and there are still places available. It’s only possible to register online via the website www.atalantacamp.it, where you can find all the useful information regarding available locations and dates.
