Here below the Nerazzurri coach’s words in today’s pre-match press conference:

“Winning in Florence mustn’t be an obsession, we go there to face a great side to play our match. We go there with the belief and the hope to play a great match, but games against Fiorentina have always been difficult and balanced”

“I saw Fiorentina play in a certain way with Iachini, new players joined their side in January”

“We can do nothing but make sure that we’re ready to face them whatever solutions they will implement”

“It’s true that we did well to be 14 points ahead of Fiorentina, yet I’m convinced that there’s no such gap on the pitch, so we have to prepare for a difficult game”

When asked about a drop of the team:

“A drop? We must acknowledge the merits of the opponents. Our table looks good: we would be 4th if the league ended today. All teams have regrets, but we must be satisfied with where we are”

“It’ll be a match in which we’ll have to be extremely good even defensively. It will be a challenging test tomorrow in this regard because Fiorentina have good and fast strikers”.
