Academy: updates from Primavera to U15

Leagues halted: every category's situation

As all academy leagues were forced to half in the weeekend, we can take stock of every category, from Primavera to Under15, both men’s and women’s teams.

PRIMAVERA

The team coached by Massimo Brambilla, lead the league with 48 points after nineteen matches, three more than Cagliari, in second place, and ten more than Inter, in third place, although they still have to play the match against Lazio which was postponed (while Cagliari and Inter have already played their games). The Nerazzurri come from two wins in a row and have the second-best attack (48 goals scored, Roma are first with 49, having played a match more) and best defence (16 goals conceded) in the league. The first two teams have direct access to the Scudetto semifinals.

UNDER 18

Stefano Lorenzi’s team sit first in the league with 37 points after 15 matches, with a six points gap over Sampdoria and sixteen points over Sassuolo, in third place. The Nerazzurri boast the best attack with 44 goals. The Scudetto will be directly given to the team that sit in first place at the end of the league, which will be played in three groups: first leg, second leg, third leg. Therefore, the Nerazzurri still have nine matchdays to play before the league ends.

UNDER 17 WOMEN’S TEAM

Two teams entered the Junior athletes league in the group A. The A team coached by Giovanni Tirinocchi sit in third place jointly with Brescia with 48 points after 19 matches, just one length back from Milan in second place and ten from Inter, top of the league (although they have played one more match). The Nerazzurri women’s team have scored 159 goals and are the second-best attack of the group behind Inter (166, with one match more). Stefano Oriunto’s B team are sixth with 37 points after 20 matches. The first three teams of the group progress to the next round.

UNDER 17 MEN’S TEAM

Giovanni Bosi’s team lead Group B with 54 points, after 18 consecutive wins. A record streak interrupted by a setback against Inter, the closest opponents seven lengths behind, although they haven’t compromised this record. They have an 18 points gap over third-place Hellas Verona: the first two teams of the group have direct access to the league quarterfinals. The Nerazzurri have the best attack (71 goals, second-best attack among the three groups) and the best defence (13 goals conceded, best defence among the three groups) of the group.

UNDER 16 MEN’S TEAM

Marco Fioretto’s team lead Group B with 44 points after 18 matches, having two points more than Bologna and three points more than Spal: both runners up have played one match more. The Nerazzurri have the second-best attack of the group (49 goals scored) and the best defence (18 goals conceded, level with Milan).

UNDER 15 WOMEN’S TEAM

Paolo Pellegrini’s team lead Group B of the Giovanissime league after seventeen matches with 49 points, jointly with Brescia. In third place FeralpiSalò, four lengths back and a match more. It’s a nice head-to-head for the top of the league, as the two teams have won all games so far, except for drawing in their face-off. The Nerazzurri women’s team have the best attack (120 goals scored) and second-best defence (6 goals conceded). The first two teams of the group league qualify for next round.

UNDER 15 MEN’S TEAM

Alessio Gambirasio’s team sit in eight place in Group B after eighteen matches. Fifth place is shared between Hellas Verona and Udinese, as this is the last spot that guarantees Play-Off access, and the Nerazzurri are three lengths back from that place.
