It’s his sixth season at Atalanta, as his signing became official on the 1st September 2014. Since then, Papu Gomez has been on the pitch in 100 of the 109 wins of Atalanta in all official competitions (Serie A TIM, Coppa Italia, Europa League and Champions League).

And win number 100 is something absolutely unique, special and historic: on 10th March 2020, at the Estadio de Mestalla for Valencia-Atalanta 3-4, the Nerazzurri qualified for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
