2015/2016 Serie A season, matchday 8: on Sunday, 18th October, at the Bergamo Stadium, Atalanta took on Carpi and won 3-0. On the scoresheet, Pinikla (7’ 1st half), Papu Gomez (43’ 1st half) and Cigarini, penalty (18 2nd half). Atalanta played with a special patch on their jersey to celebrate their 108th birthday. Thanks to the three points gained, the Nerazzurri sit in seventh place, just four lengths back from the top of the table.
