13 Atalantini on international duty this October

Between senior and Under-21s national teams

With 13 senior players called up for international duty, we look at who, when and where our lads will feature for their nations over the next few days.

Regarding Euro 2024 Qualifiers and international friendlies: Berat Djimsiti has been included in Albania’s squad for home matches against Czech Republic (12/10 in Tirana) and Bulgaria (17/10 in Tirana); Charles De Ketelaere has been called up by Belgium for Austria v Belgium (13/10 in Wien) and Belgium v Sweden (16/10 in Brussels); Bosnia and Herzegovina have selected Sead Kolašinac for home matches against Liechtenstein (13/10 in Vaduz) and Portugal (16/10 in Zenica). Mario Pašalić will feature for Croatia in the home game against Turkey (12/10 in Osijek) and the away match against Wales (15/10 in Cardiff). Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca are the Italy representatives for the home clash against Malta (14/10 in Bari) and the trip to England (17/10 in London). As for our Oranje duo, Marten de Roon and Teun Koopmeiners have been shortlisted for The Netherlands’s upcoming commitments against France (13/10 in Amsterdam) and Greece (16/10 in Athens). Lastly, Emil Holm has been called up by Sweden for the home fixture against Moldavia (12/10 in Solna) and for the aforementioned “charm offensive” with CDK’s Belgium (16/10 in Brussels).

Juan Musso has been called up for Argentina’s World Cup Qualifiers against Paraguay (13/10 in Buenos Aires) and Peru (17/10 in Lima).

As for the Nerazzurri Internationals to play friendly fixtures during this break, Ademola Lookman has been selected by Nigeria for the matches against Saudi Arabia (13/10 in Portimao) and Mozambique (16/10 in Albufeira), while Aleksey Miranchuk will feature Russia’s shortlist for the fixtures against Camerun (12/10 in Moscow and Kenya (16/10 in Antalya).

As far as European Under-21 championship qualifying fixtures are concerned, Matteo Ruggeri will be the only Italy Under-21 representative for the home match against Norway (17/10 in Bozen).
