2020-2021 review: Sam Lammers

The season of the Nerazzurri number 7

The 2020-2021 season was Sam Lammers’ first in the Nerazzurri shirt.  It was a year of maturation and growth in a new league, in which he got the satisfaction of scoring a stunner of a goal to break the ice: 17 games played in all competitions (15 in Serie A TIM, 1 in the UEFA Champions League, 1 in the Coppa Italia) and 2 goals scored. In the league, he found the back of the net on his third appearance by putting his name to a masterpiece of technique and elegance in the match won 5-2 over Cagliari on Matchday 3: the quality of the play with which he made his way through the defenders in the area, dribbling past them with his sole was his business card.
