The Atalanta Academy started the weekend off on the right foot as the Primavera imposed themselves 1-0 in the road game against Hellas Verona courtesy of Manzoni. Moving on to the U15s’ and U16s’ twin fixture against FeralpiSalò, both teams came out on top registering, respectively, a 8-0 walkover (with Faveri’s brace accompanied by single goals by Shala, Zanatta, Amalfitano, Lung, Ricella and Daniele) and 3-0 win (courtesy of Michieletto, Damiano and Inacio). Due to players called up for International commitments, the U17s’ match against Monza has been postponed. Lastly, closing off this hectic football Sunday, the U18s came out on top from the afternoon home clash against Sampdoria at the end of a riveting match which culminated in an authentic goal galore: in addition to the 5-3 final outcome (with the black-and-blue scorers being, respectively: Ragnoli Galli, Piantoni, Baldo, Camara and with a Sampdoria own goal in between); Atalanta’s goalkeeper Sala also saved a penalty.
