Two Academy sides hit the pitches today to dispute their respective late fixtures from this weekend’s set of commitments: as for the U18s’ Matchday 2 outing against Torino, coach Lorenzi’s lads couldn’t get past a 0-0 goalless draw.
Coach Frigerio’s female U17s (with Vitale pictured on the cover) took it instead to the Centro Bortolotti pitch for the seasonal debut. According to the new league format, the black-and-blue lasses were drafted in Group C of the Under 14 Giovanissimi Provinciali (Provincial Juniors) championship: today’s clash against Tritium’s male Under-14 side saw the away team winning 2-1 -with Scandella scoring Atalanta’s temporary equaliser.
