With Atalanta’s Academy embroiled in full force, the outcomes for this weekend’s set of fixtures are tipped towards a rather favourable overall: starting off from the key 1-0 victory of the Primavera in the outing against Bologna (courtesy of Bevilacqua), our sides had been one victory shy from clinching an en plein in the three-chapter saga of the 900-years derby hosted at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia against Brescia. Namely, whereas the black-and-blue Academy came out on top from both the morning fixture of the Under 15 (culminated in a 5-2 victory thanks to Martano’s and Camara’s braces and a single goal by Damiano and with captain Alessandro Rinaldi pictured in the cover while conveying the initial greeting) and the afternoon delight witnessing our  Under 16 winning 4-0 (courtesy of Inacio with a brace and with Arena and Finazzi featuring in the final scoreboard with a goal each), the Under-17 suffered instead a 2-1 defeat (in  addition to Silvestri’s goal it is also worth noting a penalty saved by Sala).

With the Under 18 hitting the pitch on Monday at 14:30 CET, their late home fixture to be played in Zingonia against Hellas Verona will mark the end of this weekend’s commitments.

Moving on to our Female sides, whereas the away fixture disputed on Saturday between the Under 15 and Orobica resulted in the 9-0 walkover (thanks to Collina’s hattrick, followed by braces from Aslam and Caroli, and with  Boldrini and Ricuperati scoring one each); the Under 17 imposed themselves 21-0 over Desenzano in this Sunday’s outing thanks to, respectively: 7 goals by Bertola, 5 goals by Amoruso, Osypchuk’s hattrick, Minuscoli’s brace and with single goals from Amura, Nicolussi, Cortinovis and Corbetta.
