Here’s the summary of the black-and-blue Academy’s frantic weekend: on Saturday our Primavera tied 1-1 in the away match against Inter thanks to a goal by De Nipoti. Today, the U-16 side defeated Spal 2-0 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia with Inacio and Gariani being the scorers (also worth noting the penalty saved by Moroni), while our U15 side overcame SPAL 3-2 as Martano netted a hat-trick. Meanwhile, the U18s faltered as they lost 1-2 to Parma with Orlando on the scoresheet (in the cover photo). The U17 league is still suspended due to international matches.

Moving to our female Academy, the U17s debuted with a stunning result (23-0) in the home match held in Zingonia against Capriate (with 10 goals by Bertola, Nicolussi’s and Testa’s hat-tricks, Balossi’s brace, and a goal each scored by Brugali, Minuscoli, Chiappa, Amoruso and Vitale respectively); while the U15s drew 1-1 (with Collina netting the ball) against Juventus in the away match of the Pre-Season Tournament held by the ‘Settore Giovanile e Scolastico’ (Youth and Scholar Division) of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation). The 6-3 victory of the U15s B (who partake in the championship without figuring in the league table) against Mantova at the Centro Bortolotti saw Marano scoring a brace and Viola, Cinquanta, Asoni and Krafia one goal each.
