Having finished eighth in the 2021-2022 season, Atalanta are one of the seeded teams in the 2022-2023 Coppa Italia, with number 8 (they are on the top left-hand side of the draw). This means that the Nerazzurri will start the competition from the Round of 16, which is scheduled for 10-12 January and 17-19 January. The quarterfinals are to be held from 31 January to 2 February. The semifinals are to be played over two legs: the first one is to take place on 4-5 April, and the second leg is to take place three weeks later, on 25-26 April. The final is scheduled for 24 May at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
