On matchday 29 of the 2021-2022 Serie A TIM, it ends 0-0 against Genoa at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

The first big chance happened in the 37th minute with Muriel’s right-foot curler clipping the post. Minutes before half-time, Genoa also had a good chance, but Vasquez’s shot was saved by Sportiello. 

In the second half, the Nerazzurri really came close to scoring the opener with Pašalić through on goal after Koopmeiners rolled across for him on 63 minutes: the Croatian turned over after Sirigu rushed out. Pessina nodded onto the post on 68 minutes but he was offside, then Destro threatened in the 75th minute with an angled drive that was inches wide. Sportiello did well to charge down Frendrup’s shot and then Hateboer tested Sirigu on the counter. Muriel had another attempt in the final minutes, but his finish was deflected for a corner by a defender and the 0-0 draw lasted until the end.
