On matchday 19 of the 2023-2024 Serie C NOW Group A, coach Modesto’s Atalanta Under-23 side shared the spoils with Arzignano in a 0-0 draw at the ‘Città di Caravaggio’ stadium, ending the first half of the season unbeaten.

The first half was a balanced affair: while Mendicino had a go for the Nerazzurri on 15 minutes with an effort off target following a corner, Arzignano tried their luck but Berto did well to mute the visitors’ chance. Although the Nerazzurri tried to find the breakthrough when Palestra sent Ghislandi through in the 25th minute, the deflected attempt ended up in Boseggia’s arms, meaning that the first fraction of the game was a goalless half.

The restart saw Vismara brought into play on 49 minutes when he pulled off an incredible save from a corner kick. Our Under-23s reacted through Cisse, whose 54th-minute left-foot effort set up by Ghislandi was slow, unfortunately. Vismara was determined to keep the scoreline down to 0-0 and pulled off a monumental double save, again from a corner kick, on 62 minutes. With no more significant goalscoring chances, the match ended in a goalless draw.
