On Monday evening, during the sports show TuttoAtalanta aired on Bergamo Tv (on the digital terrestrial channel number 15 and on streaming via www.bergamotv.it), was unveiled the charity auction of the commemorative shirts for the 2022 Birthday Match 2022 (namely, Atalanta v Sassuolo); the aggregated total of promises to pay already accrues over 7,000 euros.
The shirts, as per tradition, are those worn by and produced for all the members of the first team on the occasion of the home match, held last Saturday, the 15th of October, against Sassuolo celebrating the 115th anniversary of the Club. True to form, the initiative stems from the joint venture between Atalanta BC and Bergamo Tv with all proceeds to be devolved to charity in their entirety. The shirt worn by Bertini, the young goalkeeper from our Primavera who was on the bench in the match against the Emilian club, has also been added to the 25 jerseys on auction.
Right off the bat outstanding bids for 1.000 euros for Lookman’s and Scalvini’s shirts, followed by those of 500 euros for the jerseys worn by Koopmeiners, Muriel, de Roon, Højlund and Ruggeri.
The bids updated as of today Thursday, the 20th of October, at 18:00 CEST are available on the official Facebook and Instagram profiles of “TuttoAtalanta Bergamo Tv”, and on Atalanta’s and on L’Eco di Bergamo’s (Bergamo’s local newspaper) official websites alike: raises can be produced at any time both via SMS at 3356969423 and by e-mailing the address asta@bergamotv.it.
Although bids placed on different jerseys are allowed, eventually, each item is to be awarded to a different bidder.
The charity auction will draw to its close on Monday, the 31st of October during the course of the sports programme “TuttoAtalanta” to be aired live from 20:50 CEST on Bergamo Tv (on the digital terrestrial channel number 15 and on streaming via www.bergamotv.it).
