Now we can finally break the news: come next season, Atalanta will be participating in a European competition once again. Although the question of which one is still in the cards as results on the pitch are bound to have the final word, Atalanta have reached another momentous milestone, with a considerable advance of two matchdays nonetheless. Specifically, Atalanta have qualified for European football for the 6th time in the last seven seasons with Gasperini at the helm. A remarkable badge of honour and a great deal of satisfaction that is truly worth sharing with our fans.

As a new chapter in Atalanta’s international saga is now just waiting to be penned, this achievement is a testament to the consistency and commitment shown by the team throughout the whole season, always there in contention for a spot in the top half of the standings.

With two matches left (namely, Saturday’s outing against Inter and the Grand Finale at home against Monza), Atalanta are now in with a chance to shape their European destiny with one, final, decisive push. With our current 5th place in the standings and 61 points as a baseline for the commitments at hand, one thing is now certain: next year, we’ll take up European wanderings again!
