Five players, all born in 2006, coming from the black-and-blue Academy have been called up by Italy’s U17 to join the preparation gathering prior to Phase 2 of the qualifying rounds for the European Championship. Namely, the five aforementioned attendees are Andrea Bonanomi, Leonardo Mendicino, Federico Ragnoli Galli, Gabriel Ramaj and Lorenzo Riccio. The Azzurrini have already undertaken the preparation sessions held at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Preparation Centre in Rome.

On Friday the 3rd of March, coach Bernardo Corradi is to announce the final list of the 20 players appointed to dispute the Élite qualifying Round, scheduled between the 7th and 13th of March and to be held in Cyprus.
