Gian Piero Gasperini spoke in his press conference ahead of Atalanta-Crotone, the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM matchday 25 fixture. “It’s like all the games in our league, also this match will be difficult. Tomorrow we’ll have to have the right confidence and a certain enthusiasm because we’re in a good moment and we want to continue this moment, albeit respecting Crotone, who have been unfortunate. We’re up against an opponent who has always provided more than good performances. Moreover, the change of coach brings a reaction in all players. For us, instead, it is an opportunity to continue with what we are doing, hence we’ll face this match with the utmost determination”. 

The win over Sampdoria in Genoa, having seen the other results, was very important also for the standings: “It was a heavy victory, as indeed every win is right now, as winning is becoming more and more complicated. We are seeing that every match is now balanced and unpredictable and it is a discourse that applies to everyone. We are in a difficult phase of the season, so we need to be very careful and focused tomorrow. You always need an excellent physical and mental condition to face any commitment”.
