Atalanta is mourning the death of Arturo Gentili.

A forward, originally from Stezzano, Bergamo, Gentili wore the Nerazzurri shirt for eight seasons, from 1955 to 1963, having made 68 appearances and scored 13 goals.

Arturo Gentili was part of that Atalanta squad that won the Coppa Italia on the 2nd of June 1963 at the Giuseppe Meazza in Milan after beating Torino 3-1 in the final.

President Antonio Percassi and the whole Atalanta family share the grief with Giovanni Sacco’s family to whom they express their deepest and sincerest condolences for their loss.
