Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Ambrogio Pelagalli.

Having donned the black-and-blue shirt for four seasons – namely, the 1960/61, 1966/67 single campaigns and the 1968/69 and 1969/70 two-year period- scattered in three distinct stints, Pelagalli is the only player in the history of the Club to have completed three different transfers to Atalanta.

A midfielder, Pelagalli accrued 138 appearances and scored 5 goals over the course of his tenures defending the Orobic crest.

President Antonio Percassi, co-chairman Stephen Pagliuca and the whole Atalanta family commemorate Ambrogio Pelagalli’s legacy and, sharing the pain felt by all his loved ones, wish to tender their most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies.
