Today is Marten de Roon’s birthday!

Born on the 29th of March in 1991 in Zwijndrecht, the Oranje midfielder turns 33 today. After a first stint at Atalanta back in the 2015-2016 season, he made a second homecoming in the summer of 2017. Since then, he made himself a household name of the black-and-blue starting XIs one season after the other: so much so that, thanks to  his tally of 332 appearances in all competitions, he has now become the second-most capped Atalantino of all time; whilst also scoring 17 goals and providing 23 assists in the meantime.
